Toyo

Toyo (トヨ ) is a contestant in the Breast Swing Festival held by Hatomune Mie. She came as a representative of the Yachime Village, and was going to face off against her opponent, who Chifusa took the place of instead.

Appearance[]

Toyo is a tall, voluptuous woman with brown hair, dark eyes and noticeable full lips (heavy lipstick in the anime), always bearing a smug look.

She's introduced wearing a white plain kimono with a sash just like Chifusa, while later during the Breast Swing Festival she dons the required attire with wide orange hakama trousers, geta clogs and a single, wide white sarashi covering the middle of her breasts. Once the competition is over, she's briefly seen with a black coat over her shoulders to cover her.

Her breasts are gigantic, to the point of rivaling even True Form Kagefusa in size. Her breasts are referred to as "Explosive Breasts" (爆乳 - Bakunyuu) by Hatomune and his vassals, and they are voluminous to the point that her nipples are clearly visible underneath her cloth. Her appearance alone got a nosebleed from all male onlookers (and, in the manga, a stunned reaction from Chifusa herself).

Personality[]

One of Toyo's more obvious traits is her competitiveness, along with her desire to show off. She undertakes the Breast Swing Festival with great energy and is willing to use any method to achieve victory and one-up her opponent.

Despite her smugness, Toyo show some surprisingly good traits, showing shock when Chifusa's accident (which is forbidden by rules) is not punished, implying that she does follow rules, and is shown to be genuinely worried for Sugoroku, her benefactor, when he's taken away.

Story[]

In episode 3, Toyo is first introduced as the representative for Yachibe Village in the Breast Swing Festival, with her humongous cleavage earning an admired/stunned reaction from onlookers as she smiles confidently. Upon being told when the Festival will take place, she flaces a confident look at Chifusa, who glares back. The day of the Festival she's introduced as the representative of the Yachibe Village and proceed to easily dominate the competition due to Chifusa's lack of experience, balance and shyness. When the Nyuji group tosses water on Chifusa's breastband and increase the shaking, the Yachibe group uses their secret technique, which has the bearers jump while Toyo swings her Explosive Breasts even more, with enough intensity to make Hatomune almost swoon in pleasure. However, when the movement makes Chifusa's breastband fall, Hatomune declares her the winner, much to Toyo and the Yachibe's shock. When Toyo tries to feebly protest and shows her boobs bare to the lord, he angrily shuns her, claiming that's far more exciting to see if it's done by accident. When the Yachibe group is exposed for their cheating, Toyo is shown to be shocked and is last seen trying to reach Sugoroku, her benefactor, while a guard holds her back.

Abilities[]

While she has no military training, Toyo has demonstrated a good sense of balance, being able to stand effortlessly on the bobbing platform even when all the bearers starts jumping up and down vigorously. Both her beauty and her Explosive Breasts are widely praised by male onlookers. She's well-versed enough in Breast Swing Festival to outshine Chifusa and make Hatomune almost pass out in pleasure. She's also quite durable, showing no sign of fatigue during her performance in spite of her overly-large breasts.

Yachibe Clan "Secret Technique": All the platform-bearing girls start hopping up and down rather than just shake and bob it, as Toyo herself starts bobbing her massive bust with both hands, enhancing the bouncing of her bosom even further. This sight is compared to an avalanche by Hatomune, who nearly swoons out of sheer pleasure.

Anime and Manga Differencies[]

In the manga, Toyo seemingly just have very full lips, sine they have the same tone of her skin. In the anime, she's visibly wearing rouge instead. In her anime introduction, she makes several male onlookers nosebleed at the sight of her mammaries, while in the manga even Chifusa has a look of amazement/disbelief upon seeing her breasts.

Trivia[]

Toyo is voiced by Yuko Kawade who previous voiced Osamu from Nichijou.
Toyo's name is simply written in katakana, which are usually employed for either foreign words or animal names in zoological sense (though this is not the case). It could be possibly named after the semi-legendary successor of Queen Himiko, also known as Queen Iyo.
Her anime design has a vague resemblance to Chichi, though it's mostly tied to both having a similar hairstyle and being the only women in the anime wearing lipstick in the same manner.
Ironically, while the party involved did cheat by hiring an hitman to take out any possible rival, Toyo herself never once cheated and followed the competition's rules to a T. It's unknown if she was aware of the foul play.
